Know Your OptionsPAYING FOR CARE

Home care services that we offer may be paid with Medicaid, Long Term Care insurance, Veterans benefits or out-of-pocket.

  • Most of our private duty clients simply pay out-of-pocket using checks or credit cards.
  • Other private pay individuals have Long Term Care (LTC) insurance which they can use to pay for home care services. The Arizona Department of Insurance provides the following list of Long Term Care Insurance (LTC) Companies, whose payments CJPS Home Care gladly accepts; Bankers LifeCountry FinancialGenworthLifeCareLifeSecureMassMutualUnumThrivent, and Transamerica.

Such non-medical private pay clients can take advantage of our CAREwardsSM program which provides points in the form of pre-paid gift cards. Please visit our Rewards page for more information.

  • Yet others may receive benefits from the Veterans Administration, or Arizona Medicaid (AHCCCS), with which CJPS Home Care has statewide contracts. In these instances, with a few exceptions depending on plan specifics, it may even be possible to have a family member or a friend join our team to provide these paid services to the beneficiaries. This is called Self-Directed Attendant Care (SDAC) and it may be an option for those who would prefer to select their own caregiver. Additionally, CJPS Home Care is also an AHCCCS provider under United Healthcare Community Plan and Mercy Care.
